We would like to share some exciting news with you regarding upcoming changes to the RosettaNet program. These changes reflect the business needs of today’s High Tech and Electronics industry, whose focus has shifted in recent years to standards implementation support and maintenance. In effect, the member community has achieved its mission – since RosettaNet’s inception 13 years ago – of developing a robust set of processing standards that through adoption and usage, continue to change the way industry does business.
The RosettaNet brand will be maintained by GS1 US, along with ongoing community support. GS1 US will continue to maintain and support RosettaNet standards for the foreseeable future. A forum to address the industry’s current and future business needs will carry on within a broader industry engagement team at GS1 US.
The RosettaNet Standard will remain free and open to the public.
