Objectives

• To enhance the flexibility, scalability, and reliability of the RosettaNet business documents (PIP) exchange over multiple messaging system standards.
• To provide a consistent and well defined specifications for enabling and managing business process choreography and control spanning multiple PIPs between different Trading Partners.
• To offer capabilities that can support the evolving Trading partner process integration needs scross multiple industries.

  • Validate concept and scope of program with community.
  • Capture practical Use Cases
  • Gather and analyze business process requirements, technical capabilities, and operational characteristics of trading partners per Use Cases.
  • Evaluate the MMS Profiles as they relate to the MCC.
  • Identify & Assess other RosettaNet & industry efforts: programs, specifications, standards, best practices, etc for alignment and incorporation.
• Refine scope: Confirm/ Validate Results & Recommendations
• Create & Submit for feedback an Abstract Model to enable multiple underlying technologies.
• Create and Submit draft specification for feedback
• Finalize & Publish specification
