HOLOSOFX Strengthens Commitment to E-Business Initiatives and RosettaNet.

El Segundo, CA -- HOLOSOFX, Inc. announces plans to enhance its product offerings to provide additional support for e-commerce and e-business interfaces. This strategic move is focused on strengthening relationships with existing customers and maintaining the company's status as an industry leader in producing innovative and superior software products and services. The action also reinforces the company's commitment to RosettaNet and its effort to establish new interface standards within the Information Technology supply chain.

HOLOSOFX flagship product, Workflow BPRTM, includes an e-commerce mode of operation in the soon to be released version 3.4. The e-commerce mode incorporates new modeling objects that permit definition and analysis of e-commerce and e-business interfaces. This enhancement enables users to analyze the operational and financial impact of e-commerce and e-business initiatives prior to implementation.

Additionally, HOLOSOFX has developed a methodology that is designed to assist organizations in aligning electronic interfaces with their underlying business processes. This EC Process methodology is extremely relevant for organizations that plan to implement RosettaNet PIPs (Partner Interface Processes). This is because RosettaNet is taking a process-centric approach to interface definition. Each PIP defines a set of interfaces that are designed to integrate with underlying business processes. The EC Process methodology enables RosettaNet partners to align their business processes with the PIP interfaces to ensure PIP compliance as well as optimum operational efficiency.

HOLOSOFX is also developing its E-Business Publisher™ product that enables dynamic publishing and management of policies and procedures over an intranet, extranet, or an open web site. From an e-commerce perspective, the E-Business Publisher™  will allow business partners to share company policy information and procedure information relating to business partner trading agreements. Moreover, opportunities exist to publish procedures that relate to RosettaNet PIPs. The E-Business Publisher™  is expected to be released later this year.

With the enhancements to Workflow BPR™ , development of the EC Process methodology and release of the E-Business Publisher, HOLOSOFX is making a significant commitment to e-commerce and e-business. Of course, HOLOSOFX continued commitment to RosettaNet is equally important.

HOLOSOFX is a RosettaNet Architect Partner and was engaged by RosettaNet in November 1998 to model and analyze the interface dialogues that define RosettaNet PIPs. Additionally, through the use of the Workflow BPR™  tool, HOLOSOFX produces the PIP Blueprints that comprise the complete set of business requirements associated with each PIP. "Our commitment to RosettaNet is steadfast. Clearly RosettaNet is the new paradigm in integrated and aligned supply chain management," said J. In addition to the establishment of process-centric interface standards, RosettaNet is also defining an entirely new infrastructure and means of communication for business partners. This new infrastructure will create an environment where interface dialogues can be monitored for performance and status. "Once RosettaNet standards are implemented, partners will be able to inquire on the specific services, and e-business infrastructure via the web.
