Partner Press Release Company Will Utilize Common e-Business Language In Global Supply Chain Visibility Network For Release June 27, 2000
SUNNYVALE Savi Technology, Inc., a supply chain service provider building a global visibility network, today announced that it has joined RosettaNet and will support the Consortium's specifications for a common language to align business processes between participants in the electronics and information technology industries. Savi, which joined the Consortium as a Solution Partner, will implement RosettaNet Partner Interface Process™ (PIP™) and messaging specifications, which are designed to enable seamless communications between suppliers and partners in Internet-based trading environments. Support for the RosettaNet-defined business interfaces will be an integral part of Savi's hosted visibility solutions, which can be accessed by the company's customers via web browser. "RosettaNet's success to date in its ambitious program demonstrates both the need for, and the powerful impact of, the Consortium," said Vic Verma, president and CEO of Savi Technology.
