Partner Press Release
iService Joins RosettaNet as a Solution Partner

For Release July 27, 2000

DALLAS

iService, the e-process business solution provider, announced today it has joined RosettaNet as a Solution Partner. The RosettaNet consortium streamlines the Information Technology (IT) and electronic components (EC) supply chains through its system-to-system business process standards, based on eXtensible Markup Language (XML). iService's partnership with RosettaNet strengthens its commitment to open standard information domain solutions for the service industry.

"We are pleased to have iService join as a Solution Partner," states, Jennifer Hamilton, RosettaNet CEO. "As leading companies in the IT and EC supply chains continue to implement RosettaNet standards, the products and services offered by Solution Partners such as iService help accelerate adoption rates and reinforce the value of common e-business processes."

Paul Gray, President of iService agrees. "We are excited to join RosettaNet as a Solution Partner. We have been vigorously concentrating on our depth of the internet Data Interchange (iDI) services for Warranty, Service Logistics, and Post Warranty. We believe our exchange partners will benefit greatly from this partnership."

He continues by stating "CompTIA has endorsed RosettaNet, and many of our current trade partners in exchange such as HP, who is a RosettaNet Board Member, and CompuCom are CompTIA members. Our new partnership with RosettaNet now closes the communication exchange loop."

iService developed iDI as today's answer to existing information exchange. iDI utilizes XML, webMethods and the Internet (with SSL security) to pack vast amounts of detailed data into single document transmissions. iService expanded iDI to include Warranty iDI (W-iDI) which provides service to Service Providers (SP) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM); the Service Logistics iDI (SL-iDI) which provides service to SP's and Original Design Manufacturers (ODM); and the Post Warranty iDI (PW-iDI) which provides service to the SP's and Part Vendors (PV's).

About iService
iService provides Service Logistics and e-Process solutions to the Information Technology industry via the internet Data Interchange (iDI). The native mode of communication offered through the iDI amongst participating partners features benefits such as System-to-System communication, industry standard transactions, a centralized data repository including a technical certification database, reconciliation and auditing, as well as physical domain tracking. Currently, the iDI provides a connectivity conduit for the computer industry bringing together Service Providers (SP), OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers), Repair Vendors (RV), Extended Warranty Providers (EWP), and Logistic Providers (LP).
