Suplicity eXpress Aligned with RosettaNet Basics Program

Cost-effective supplier enablement solution for SMEs

For Release June 4, 2001

LITTLETON --

Suplicity Corporation,   a leading provider of supplier enablement services, today announced that its new e-business service eXpress meets the needs of the RosettaNet Basics program, an initiative charged with providing easy-to-use, affordable solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Suplicity's eXpress service offers suppliers three critical components that help meet the RosettaNet Basics program requirements. Specifically, Suplicity's eXpress solution helps to achieve interoperability between major trading partners by enabling suppliers to connect once and reach many trading partners, regardless of protocol, including RosettaNet, xCBL and cXML.

In addition, Suplicity eXpress addresses RosettaNet's Order Management Partner Interface Processes™ (PIPs™). The product's robust order management system accommodates order receipt, cancellation and change, as well as notification of order acceptance, advance shipment, invoice and payment/rejection.

Suplicity's eXpress subscription-based service is delivered via the Web for a nominal monthly fee. With this low-cost service there are no requirements for expensive solutions software or infrastructure or technology enhancements.

Suplicity eXpress provides the collaboration capabilities required to monitor and notify trading partners on standard activities and exceptions. It also provides data integration into the most common backend systems used by SMEs and immediate data analysis and reporting for purchase orders that reside on the eXpress-hosted platform. In addition, Suplicity's Business Process Engine is core technology that drives eXpress and offers tremendous flexibility and integrity to users in virtually any business-to-business or enterprise integration environment.

"We are pleased that partner companies such as Suplicity are endeavoring to meet the demand for low-cost, turn-key solutions and are delivering these highly anticipated product offerings to the marketplace," said Jennifer Hamilton, CEO of RosettaNet.

"The Suplicity eXpress service fits perfectly with the RosettaNet Basics needs for SMEs," said David Wiedmer, President and CEO of Suplicity. "The eXpress services are designed to increase the RosettaNet adoption rate -- providing a cost-effective solution for medium sized companies."
