Syntricity Joins New RosettaNet Solution Provider Board To Help Promote Adoption Of XML Business Process Standards For B2B Applications

Syntricity Inc., the provider of dataConductor™, the leading Web-based engineering data collection, management and reporting solution, today announced that it has joined RosettaNet's new Solution Provider Board as a founding member. The new board has been formed to drive the development and deployment of supply chain standards for e-business and other Internet-based business activities. Other founding members named to the board include Agile Software, BEA Systems, ChipData, E2pen, eConnections, Fujitsu Limited, i2 Technologies, Infoteria Corporation, Manugistics, Mentor Graphics, NEC Corporation, Peregrine Systems, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SAIC, SAP, TIBCO Software, Viacore and webMethods.

The new board brings together industry-leading enterprise application developers, solution integrators, consultancies and e-marketplaces with a critical stake in deploying supply chain standards developed by and for the global RosettaNet community. Syntricity became a member of RosettaNet's Americas region in early June.

The new Solution Provider Board was authorized by the RosettaNet Executive Board to leverage the reach and accessibility of key providers of Internet-based solutions within the RosettaNet community to ensure that their technology, processes and partnerships will support vertical supply chains in a wide range of industries, including the information technology, semiconductor and electronics industries.

The new board will take on milestone development and deployment projects as well as a leadership role in key RosettaNet initiatives such as low-cost, turnkey solutions, the RosettaNet next-generation architecture, and interoperability via RosettaNet's software compliance program.
