Emeryville, CA --

CommerceRoute, the pioneer of integration appliances , today announced that the company has joined the RosettaNet Solution Provider Board (SP).   CommerceRoute, along with other leading solution providers, will participate in the development of implementation strategies for key RosettaNet Milestone and Foundational programs.   In addition, CommerceRoute has agreed to provide staff resources, including engineering support, to generate compliance test scripts associated with the RosettaNet Ready™ Software Compliance Badge Services.

RosettaNet, the high technology industry's leading e-business standards consortium, is dedicated to the development of a common language and open e-business processes that provide measurable benefits vital to the evolution of the global, high-technology trading network.

CommerceRoute’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Ted Colton, will serve on the Solution Provider Board, which is comprised of industry-leading enterprise application and middleware developers, systems integrators, consultancies, e-service providers and infomediaries.   CommerceRoute will also actively participate in the consortium’s many marketing initiatives designed to drive industry-wide adoption of RosettaNet standards.

“CommerceRoute is committed to the advancement of RosettaNet standards and we are pleased to offer our support to enable faster adoption of XML-based e-business processes,” said Colton.   “To that end, we are offering technical resources to help advance interoperability among e-business systems.”

CommerceRoute’s Syncx Ô 6100 integration appliances allow companies to pass critical pricing, supply and logistics information up and down their supply chains without implementing middleware or investing in proprietary technology.    The Syncx 6100 appliance offers many benefits for supply chain solutions:  simple installation; minimal ongoing IT resource requirements and capital expense; no software implementations or coding; ability to work across integration platforms; and flexibility to easily engage/disengage various trading partners.

"We are pleased that CommerceRoute continues to demonstrate its commitment by joining the RosettaNet Solution Provider Board," said Jennifer Hamilton, RosettaNet CEO. "Through the efforts put forth by CommerceRoute and other valued member companies, we anticipate a greater number of solutions will be made available to small- and mid-sized companies who have traditionally not had access to supply chain advantages normally associated with larger organizations.”
