Mountain View, CA --
Timogen Systems
™, a leading provider of inter-enterprise solutions, announced that it will continue to
actively expand its participation in RosettaNet activities and initiatives in 2002. In 2001,
Timogen was highly involved in RosettaNet and its Milestones Programs, including RosettaNet Basics
& Express. This program was designed to enable the affordable adoption of RosettaNet standards
for small- to medium-sized high-technology companies.
In support of the RosettaNet Basics & Express Program, Timogen recently released the
second version of its Timogen Order Collaboration
™ for RosettaNet solution, which enables suppliers of all sizes to quickly and easily
use RosettaNet XML-based standards to manage and automate an order’s lifecycle with their trading
partners.
The solution supports the RosettaNet Implementation Framework
(RNIF) 1.1 as well as individual Partner Interface Processes
™ (PIPs).
“Solution providers are essential to enabling low-cost, easy-to-implement products and
services for small- to medium-sized enterprises,” noted Jennifer Hamilton, CEO of RosettaNet. “
Through their participation in the RosettaNet Basics & Express Milestone Program, Timogen has
demonstrated their commitment to driving standards-based solutions for a broader community within
the supply chain.”
Timogen Order Collaboration accelerates deployment of RosettaNet across the extended trading
network, reducing the time and cost of implementation by over 50%
for high-technology suppliers.
Customers are able to rapidly deploy the Timogen solution and
start submitting transactions within one month.
The Timogen Order Collaboration solution was demonstrated at the Intel
® RosettaNet Interoperability Fest 2001, a premiere industry event in Taiwan showcasing
the interoperability of RosettaNet solutions. Using Timogen Order Collaboration, Compal, one of the
world’s leading notebook manufacturers, successfully conducted transactions with four of its
trading partners.
“RosettaNet is a driving force behind the development of e-business standards and
the promotion of B2B integration in the high-tech industry,” said Timogen CTO Yeh-Heng Sheng. “By
creating the Milestone Programs, RosettaNet has enabled companies of all sizes to implement
RosettaNet standards and achieve operational efficiencies as well as economic gains. Timogen is
proud to have contributed in the success of these programs and will continue to be a leading
RosettaNet solutions provider in 2002.”
