RosettaNet Press Release For Release April 10, 2003
TIBURON, CA
“As companies begin to transition outside their four walls and move toward a more collaborative enterprise environment, open business standards such RosettaNet will be an essential part of this transition. In light of this industry trend, Digital Foundry has chosen to create a practice around RosettaNet as it is one, if not, the most evolved and utilized XML standard today,” said Brad Stauffer, President of Digital Foundry. “I am also pleased to announce that Koichi Arimitsu, a veteran high tech industry professional with solid supply chain management experience, has been named managing director of this exciting new area of business at Digital Foundry.”
Digital Foundry’s RosettaNet practice is designed specifically to help clients understand the many advantages of RosettaNet, to define an implementation strategy that best supports overall business objectives and to develop and maintain implementation milestones so as to grow RosettaNet exchanges moving forward.
“As a valued RosettaNet Partner, I would like to acknowledge this progressive move by Digital Foundry,” said Jennifer Hamilton, CEO of RosettaNet. “The creation of an extended business practice focused entirely on RosettaNet standards adoption and implementation clearly represents the growing need for professional solutions and services to support B2B integration activities in the industry.”
“The primary challenge for many companies today, particularly SMEs, is the lack of experience and/or resources to create and deploy a sound RosettaNet implementation strategy. Our role is to bring about a greater awareness and understanding so that our clients can benefit from the short-and long-term opportunities associated with industry collaboration and e-business standards,” noted Koichi Arimitsu.
Over the past 12 years, Digital Foundry has worked with a number of custom transport languages to help businesses communicate electronically. RosettaNet XML-based standards allow Digital Foundry and its customers to simplify the choice of messages so that they can focus on making significant improvements to their supply chain. Digital Foundry's RosettaNet practice offers education, assessment, planning, and implementation services. The practice targets companies seeking to implement collaborative and real time processes with their trading partners.
