-- Fadi Chehad é Chief Executive Officer RosettaNet Chehad é is co-founder and chief executive officer of RosettaNet. Chehad é is an executive on loan from Ingram Micro to this non-profit initiative. Prior to RosettaNet, Chehad é was vice president of Ingram Micro's Customer Information Services Group where he lead the creation and development of Ingram Micro's web-based extranet, successfully weaving hundreds of suppliers and thousands of resellers into a powerful business web of applications and content. Over the last six years, Chehad é built and promoted tools and practices that foster cooperation between computer companies to facilitate electronic commerce amongst themselves and with their trading partners. In 1992, he launched nettConnection, an innovative Lotus Notes-based extranet application, linking tens of companies in the U.S. to their distribution channel partners in 36 countries, enabling efficient commerce and structured information sharing. Previously, Chehad é was CEO of Infoware Development, a software developer of business publishing tools designed to build corporate information warehouses on the Internet. In 1989, he founded Connectica Inc., which designed and implemented marketing and distribution strategies for U.S. based software publishers to penetrate European and Asian markets. Chehad é is a graduate of Stanford University, where he earned a master's degree in Engineering Management. He also earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Polytechnic University in New York. Ross A. Cooley Chairman and CEO pcOrder Ross Cooley is the chairman and chief executive officer of pcOrder, the leading provider of Internet-based electronic commerce solutions that enable the computer industry's suppliers, resellers, and end-users to buy and sell computer products online. Cooley is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pcOrder's strategic direction, operating plans, and product offerings. Prior to joining pcOrder, Cooley was in charge of Compaq Computer Corporation's North American business and operations. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cooley was responsible for the $7 billion United States and Canadian computer business. During his 12 years at Compaq, Cooley built strong relationships with industry executives in the PC channel that have helped pcOrder rapidly secure partnerships within the computer industry. He also directed the company's innovative distribution strategy that propelled Compaq to be the number one personal-computer vendor in the world. Previously, Cooley spent 18 years at International Business Machines Corporation where he held several sales and marketing positions. As a member of the RosettaNet Managing Board, Cooley continues to shape the future of the industry. RosettaNet, an independent, non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting an industry-wide initiative to agree on and adopt common electronic business processes worldwide. Cooley has also been selected for the Computer Industry Hall of Fame for his visionary leadership. Sean Maloney Senior Vice President Director, Sales and Marketing Group Intel Corporation Sean Maloney is a Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation and Director of the Sales and Marketing Group, responsible for sales operations worldwide. He has been with Intel since 1982. Maloney began his Intel career in its European headquarters where he spent nine years, first as Intel UK's Manager of Applications Engineering, then as Country Manager of Intel UK, and Director of Marketing for Intel Europe. Most recently, Maloney was General Manager of Intel's Asia Pacific Operations. From 1992 to 1995, Maloney served as Technical Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive of Intel, Dr. Andrew S. Grove. In 1995, Maloney moved to Hong Kong to manage Intel's sales and marketing activities in Asia Pacific. He returned to the United States in April 1998 to take his current position. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in January 1999. Rick Fricchione Vice President of Advanced Information Technology COMPAQ Rick Fricchione is Vice President of Advanced Information Technology for COMPAQ Computer Corporation. He is responsible for technology direction, applications architecture, methods and tools for an IM organization of over 4000 people and $1B in annual spending. Prior to joining COMPAQ, Rick was with Digital Equipment Corporation for 18 years in a variety of roles in the information services, software engineering and customer services organizations. Rick is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Michael's College and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute for a Masters degree in Computer Science. Jerre L. Stead Chairman and CEO Ingram Micro, Inc. Jerre L. Stead is chairman and chief executive officer of Ingram Micro. He joined the company in 1996 and has a proven track record and is characterized as having great vision and global expertise. He believes that people are a company's only sustainable competitive advantage. Stead began his career in 1965 at Honeywell Inc., where he spent 21 years and held a number of management positions in the United States and Europe. In 1987, he was named president and chief operating officer of Palatine, Ill.-based Square D Co., a leading manufacturer of electrical distribution and factory automation products. He was promoted to chairman, president and chief executive officer in 1989 and served through 1991. In 1992, Stead was named chairman and chief executive officer of AT&T's Global Business Communications Systems. Stead was promoted to executive vice president of AT&T and chairman and CEO of AT&T Global Information Solutions (NCR Corporation) in 1993. He led the company a new strategic direction, providing customers with solutions to get, move and use information. He also was a member of AT&T's Management Executive Committee and Global Operations Team. Most recently, Stead served as chairman and chief executive officer of Legent Corporation. He joined the company in January of 1995 and resigned eight months later after a successful merger with Computer Associates. Stead is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he earned a bachelor's in business administration. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University Advanced Management Program in Switzerland. He is on the board of directors of Armstrong World Industries, Conexant Systems, Inc., TBG Group, and Thomas & Betts. He also served as president of the Electronic Manufacturers Club, and is the chairman of the board for the Center of Ethics and Values at Garrett Seminary on the Northwestern University campus. Honorio J. Padron Senior Vice President, Engineering Processes and CIO CompUSA Inc. Honorio has served as Senior Vice President, Engineering Processes and CIO for CompUSA since November 1997. His current initiative is the overall design and replacement of CompUSA's systems, processes and technology, including the installation of an enterprise resource system (SAP) as well as new point-of-sale computers in the stores. CompUSA believes this initiative is mission critical to the company's long-term success. Additionally, Honorio is a key member of the executive team that is designing and implementing the CompUSA e-commerce strategy. Prior to joining CompUSA, Honorio was Senior Vice President and CIO for PepsiCo Restaurants, a fast-food restaurant chain, from August 1996 to November 1997. From February 1995 to August 1996, he was Senior Vice President of Business Engineering & Technology and CIO for Flagstar, a restaurant management company. From 1988 to 1995, Honorio was employed by Burger King Corporation, a fast-food restaurant chain, where he held various positions including Senior Director of Research and Development, Director of Reengineering, and Director of Profit and Loss Improvements. From 1982 to 1985, he was Owner and CEO of H&A Restaurant Management Company. Honorio's first professional assignment upon graduation from college was with NASA at the Kennedy Space Center, where he worked for 10 years and held a variety of program management roles relating to the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs. Honorio graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in electrical engineering. Born in Cuba, Honorio came to the United States in 1967 after living in Madrid, Spain for one year. He first lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he remained until he completed his college degree. His parents, Honorio and Nilda Padron, live in Miami. F.R. Campagnoni Chief Technology Officer GE Information Services F.R. Campagnoni is the Chief Technology Officer for GE Information Services, where his role is to define and drive the company's technology strategy in order to maximize the speed of development, effectiveness and flexibility of GE's business-to-business electronic commerce solutions. Frank has been intimately involved with the development, design and deployment of network-centric technologies and solutions for more than 15 years, and has been an active participant in a number of industry standards consortia. Currently, he serves on the Managing Board of RosettaNet. Dr. Campagnoni has two patents pending based on his work in distributed object technology and has published scientific papers on hypertext systems. Prior to joining GE, Frank served as a chief technologist at AT&T Solutions, where he led the Digital Commerce and Networked Applications Service Line within the Networking Integration Practice. Prior to this assignment, he headed the Technology Planning and Engineering Group, which was focused on developing the architecture, infrastructure, process, and tools that the Network Integration Practice teams utilized in customer engagements. During the six years before his work at AT&T, Frank worked for IBM, serving in a number of capacities including principle object architect, senior technologist, technical advisor to the Director of Object Technology, and team lead for one of the first commercial CORBA-based object request brokers. Prior to his time at IBM, Frank served on the technical staff at Sun Microsystems and was a professor of computer science at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
