RosettaNet Partner Conference Highlights Global E-Business Standards Development and Implementation Milestones

EConcert Event to be Held at Disneyland Hotel April 18-20

Representatives of more than 400 companies headquartered on three continents have been invited to participate in the upcoming RosettaNet Partner Conference, to be held in Anaheim, Calif., April 18-20, 2001.

RosettaNet is the world's leading global e-business process standards organization for the Information Technology (IT), Electronic Components (EC) and Semiconductor Manufacturing (SM) industries.

A forum for education, training and networking among industry leaders, the RosettaNet Partner Conference facilitates the production and implementation of RosettaNet standards and enables partners to identify new business opportunities and influence the direction of RosettaNet to the benefit of the industry.

Scheduled speakers to date include executives from Extricity, Intel, Motorola, TIBCO Software and UDDI. In addition, sponsor companies such as BEA Systems, ChipData, Comergent, CrossWorlds Software, Descartes Systems Group, Extricity, GE Global eXchange Services, Infoteria, Intelligenceware, Manugistics, NEC, PTC, SAQQARA Systems, SeeBeyond, TIBCO Software, Viacore, webMethods, Xoriant and Zygon will be featured at the RosettaNet Partner Showcase.

For the first time, industry professionals who are non-partners are being invited to attend the first day of the conference. "This is the premier opportunity for all interested parties to attend and really learn what RosettaNet is all about from the individuals who are deeply involved with RosettaNet on a day-to-day basis," said Jennifer Hamilton, RosettaNet CEO.

The RosettaNet Partner Conference will focus on RosettaNet standards development, the organization's key initiatives for 2001, successful Partner Interface Process®  (PIP®) implementations and emerging market opportunities. Sessions include global RosettaNet activity updates, PIP implementation successes, strategies on building RosettaNet teams, small- and medium-enterprise (SME) solutions, as well as specific instructional sessions covering RosettaNet standards, methodologies and PIP development.
