RosettaNet Press Release Global eXchange Services Successfully Completes Beta Trial For Release September 1, 2004
SANTA ANA, CA
The transition to eBusinessReady became official with the successful completion of a beta trial performed by Global eXchange Services (GXS). In June 2004, GXS tested its Application Integrator ™ v 4.1 and Enterprise System ™v 7.5 products against the RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) and Partner Interface Process ® (PIP ®) 3C3.
"Compliance is the critical first step toward achieving industry interoperability," said Herman Stiphout, RosettaNet President. "In leveraging the existing eBusinessReady framework to include compliance testing services for RosettaNet, our valued solution provider community can continue to certify their software products, resulting in greater value for supply chain companies looking to implement these RosettaNet-compliant solutions."
GXS has been actively involved with RosettaNet since 1998, and currently serves as a member of the consortium’s Solution Provider (SP) Global Industry Council. In 2003-2004, the company was awarded 15 RosettaNet Ready ™ software compliance badges for various product offerings.
"GXS, a leading supplier of GDSN data sync, AS2 and RosettaNet standards, is pleased to have participated in the beta testing for RosettaNet," said David Kraemer, vice president marketing and industry development at Global eXchange Services. " eBusinessReady extends the successful RosettaNet Ready™ software compliance initiative to a broader market scope, promoting a single methodology across all UCC certification program initiatives."
"The partnership between UCC, a multi-industry standards organization, and Drummond Group, a leading compliance, interoperability and conformance testing company, offers tremendous benefits and greater reach to companies seeking to certify their software products that support RosettaNet e-business standards," remarked Kraemer.
