RosettaNet, the high technology industry’s leading e-business process standards consortium, announced that Dr. Suresh Damodaran of Sterling Commerce successfully concluded his two-year on-loan assignment as RosettaNet’s Chief Technologist.

For the last two years, Dr. Damodaran provided critical technical leadership in the development and adoption of RosettaNet standards in the high technology community. • Leadership in the definition and creation of the pipeline to produce XML Schema based PIPs from UML models

Dr. Damodaran will continue to contribute to RosettaNet through an ongoing role as a senior architecture adviser. In this role, he will work with the RosettaNet Centers of Excellence on a part-time basis to support the incorporation and adoption of emerging technologies and standards. He will also continue to serve on the RosettaNet Architecture Advisory Committee.

In thanking Dr. Damodaran for his service to the organization, Herman Stiphout, President of RosettaNet, said, “The success and growth of RosettaNet standards are due in large measure to the members of our consortium that provide us with world-class executives to support our important mission. For the past two years, we have been fortunate to have a professional like Suresh serve as our Chief Technologist. His vision and technical expertise have been invaluable as RosettaNet has expanded its presence into new industries and key global markets. As he completes his on-loan assignment, I wanted to extend out sincere thanks to Suresh and Sterling Commerce for their dedication and support.”
