This program drives development of an e-business process to automate the management of service
contract information. Economic benefits are reduced parts carrying costs, reduced logistics costs
for mis-shipments, reduced data rework at time of service delivery, more accurate picture of
contract start/end possibly leading to higher sales of renewed contracts to the service provider.
This program will focus to create an accepted industry standard with a common
vocabulary and structure for transmission of quality data by standardizing the variety of
electronic certificate of analysis approaches adopted in the industry today. Ultimately, it enables
the delivery of a standardized certificate of analysis information in an automated manner from the
supplier to the customers and subsequently, it improves efficiency under a complex supply chain
environment by eliminating the current manual handling of this process.
