1.
Program Objective
The goal of the program is to validate the Material Release 4D1 PIP
within the replenishment use case as defined by the original RosettaNet Collaborative Forecasting
Program.
2.
Assumptions, Preconditions, or Dependencies
In order to effectively validate the material release (4D1) process
the following fully validated PIP’s will be included for testing purposes only, and will not be
changed as part of the validation:
4A4 – Notify of Planning Release Forecast
4A5 – Notify of Forecast Reply
Other processes have been defined to include the material release (4D1) and
can be used for testing purposes at the discretion of the validation partners as long as the other
PIPs in the use cases are fully validated.
3.
Specification Development Effort Scope - IN SCOPE
Validation of the Material Release (4D1) PIP in accordance with the
replenishment use case as defined by the original RosettaNet Collaborative Forecasting
Program.
4.
Specification Development Effort Scope - OUT OF SCOPE
Redesign of any validated PIPs used for test purposes during the
validation of this process. Change recommendations to validated PIPs that arise from this process
should use the existing RosettaNet defined change management process.
5.
Specification Development Expected Output
Validation of the Material Release (4D1) PIP in accordance with the
replenishment use case as defined by the original RosettaNet Collaborative Forecasting
Program.
6.
Documentation and Implementation Support Expected Output
Documentation of use case scenarios for the Material Release (4D1)
PIP in accordance with the replenishment use case as defined by the original RosettaNet
Collaborative Forecasting Program. |
