Business Challenge

  • Each PIP requires the Trading Partners (TP) to individually negotiate on the specific data use for implementation. This increases costs of implementation as implementations vary acrfoss TPs in the same industry. Potential timesavings up to 50% per PIP implementation.
  • Telecom specific data requirements are not covered by the existing PIPs promoting TPs to enhance the specifications by themselves

Value Proposition

Phase 1:

  • Provide a  RosettaNet Telecom implementation reference model for selected box-business scenarios
    • to be the basis for communication with othere standardization bodies
    • to creat basis for further development
  • Align RosettaNet Implementation Guide based on the Telecom implemenation experiencs for selected end-to-end processes
  • Identify potential modifications and extensions to current or need for new PIPs in Telecommunications industry

Phase 2:

  • Execute implementations based on the reference model (subject to individual company ROI decisions)
  • Document Telecom specific business success stories
  • Revise RosettaNet Telecom Council roadmap
  • Launch new milestone program proposals or change request
