Term  Definition



GTIN
 Global Trade Item Number. The part-numbering schema that identifies any item upon which there is a need to retrieve pre-defined information and may be priced, ordered or invoiced at any point in the supply chain.

   

Guideline
 A set or collection of specifications, sometimes including specific implementation advice. (See EDI Guideline.)
