The standard data structure used to exchange order-related data between OBI-compliant trading partners. The OBI object contains an encapsulated version of OBI data and it may include a digital signature. The OBI data field within an OBI object contains an order or order request that has been formatted based on the EDI-based OBI order format specification.

Occur
A single segment that can repeat a given number of times is said to occur. For example, “DTM Occurs = 100†means that the “Date/Time Reference†segment can repeat 100 times in sequence.
