RosettaNet dictionaries provide a common set of properties for PIPs®. The RosettaNet Business Dictionary designates the properties used in basic business activities. RosettaNet Technical Dictionaries provide properties for defining products.

RosettaNet Technical Dictionary
The RNTD provides common properties for defining products for RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes (PIPs).
This dictionary, coupled with the RosettaNet Business Dictionary, provides a common vocabulary for conducting e-business, eliminating confusion in the procurement process due to companies' uniquely defined terminology. The RNTD eliminates the need for partners to utilize separate dictionaries when implementing multiple PIPs and is no longer supply chain-specific, allowing it to be used in a variety of supply chain applications.

RosettaNet Business Dictionary
The RosettaNet Business Dictionary defines the Business Properties, Business Data Entities, and Fundamental Business Data Entities in PIP Message Guidelines.

This specification and the architecture it defines will significantly contribute to RosettaNet’s mission of driving collaborative development and rapid deployment of e-business standards and services.
